Rose Valley opened in July of 1998.
The original homestead was established in 1909.
Rose Valley Lodge & Restaurant is nestled on 400 spectacular acres of meadows, forest and ancient mountains, therefore Rose Valley offers opportunities for hiking on nature trails, bird and wildlife watching, wilderness skiing and snow shoeing, and a variety of workshops / retreats.
We feel privileged to live in Northern Ontario, one of the pristine and rugged wilderness destinations that is easily accessible. The area is rich is lakes, rivers, waterfalls, wildlife, birds, canyons, cliffs and interesting people.
Our philosophy is to share and protect the natural beauty and unique wilderness opportunities as well as to provide world class service in hospitality. Spend a rejuvenating night in one of our two rustic log cabins, complete with Jacuzzi bath tub. It's the perfect ending to your delectable meal.

Rose Valley Lodge & Restaurant was established in 1998 and it is a marvelous place to say "I Do" surrounded by your loved ones and nature. Located only 30 minutes from the airport, we are nestled on 400 secluded acres of meadows and ancient mountains. The natural and farm style surroundings provide unlimited photo opportunities as well as plenty of space for your ceremony and mingling.
Our dining room offers seating for up to 50 guests and our newly created tent event area can cater 51 to 150 guests in an outdoor, country style atmosphere for time period between mid July to the 2nd weekend of September only.
Our tent is set up with a wooden floor and lots of windows and skylight to allow daylight to shine through, but don’t worry the evenings are set with lighting that is dimmable . There are also two log cabins available to rent on the property that is perfect as a bridal suite or getting ready area.

A: Our cozy log cottages provide a secluded and memorable overnight stay and is equipped with running drinkable water, electricity (but no electronics),
keurig coffee maker with various coffee flavours, wine glasses, cork screw, bath tub and woodstove .

Markus Hofmann, Swiss Hotelier and his wife Deborah invite you to enjoy a delectable meal of European flare within the secluded setting of Rose Valley Lodge. We are fans of the slow food dining system. Be prepared to enjoy your 5-course meal over a period of time (2-3 hours) as Markus prepares and cooks your meal as you enjoy our cozy dining room setting.
